AI traffic is tiny. Why should I care?
The people AI sends you are still a small share of most sites' visits. What isn't small is how much AI reads, and what it reads shapes what it says about you. SenseGap shows both.
Can't Google Analytics show this?
Only part of it. GA4 sees some people arriving from ChatGPT or Perplexity, but bots don't run JavaScript, so it never sees which pages AI reads or which bots are fake.
How is this different from AI visibility tools?
They run sample prompts and score the answers, and those answers change from one run to the next. We record every real AI visit to your site, so the numbers come from your traffic.
How hard is setup, and will it slow my site?
Most sites connect through Cloudflare, with no code changes to the site itself. Data is sent after your page has been served, so visitors never wait on us.
Can you see what people asked ChatGPT?
No, and nobody can. AI companies don't share prompts. We estimate likely topics from thousands of real visits, and always label estimates as estimates.
What do you store about visitors?
Bot requests and visits from AI answers. Visit records keep a shortened IP address, never a visitor profile, and they are deleted after 90 days.
